Thanks for choosing Hand Talk!
2. Data we collect
2.1 Information you share
During the register process, you will provide us your name, e-mail address and profile (deaf or listener).
The audios created by the voice recognition software will not be stored in our app nor send to third parties.
All translations are registered and make part of the user history at the app. We also use all the translated phrases (anonymously, not identifying the user) to train our translation machine, enhancing the quality of all translations performed by the Hand Talk Neural Net.
2.2 Third Parties Data
2.3 Error Analysis
We want to inform you that every time you use our app and an error occurs, we collect data and information at your phone through our partner’s product, Crashlytics. This register data may include information such as your device IP address, your device name, operating system version, settings of the app while using our service, time and date of use of the service and other statistics.
Cookies are files that carry a small quantity of data, commonly used as anonymous exclusive identifiers. They are sent to our browser from the visited websites and stored at the internal memory of your device.
4. Use of data obtained by Hand Talk
Hand Talk can occasionally send you advertisement concerning new app functions, bank holidays, or information about new clients who came to access your website.
We can also use your contacts to send you notifications on new services and sales offered by Hand Talk, if you agree to receive these messages.
5. Sharing your personal data third parties
Hand Talk shares your personal data only when necessary to offer you a service, when it’s legally required or when allowed by you.
We provide personal data to cloud hosting providers, like Google, analytic providers, like Firebase, and custom support providers, like ZenDesk.
These companies will help us to offer you a better service. For instance, we can share your information to discover where or how you found a bug in our mobile app. Connecting those processes, our providers will have access to your personal data during a limited amount of time.
6. Links to other sites
7. Children and teenagers privacy
Hand Talk Services are not entitled to people under the age of 13. We do not deliberately collect personal data from children under 13 years old or under the minimum age limit (onward designated by “minimum age limit”). If the user is under the minimum age limit, it should not use the Hand Talk services nor provide us any personal data. If you are a parent or carer who knows your child is providing us personal information, please contact us so we can take the applicable measures.
